Mayo to wear white against Kerry in All-Ireland final
Mayo will line out in white shirts for the All-Ireland football final, while Kerry will take to the field in their traditional green and gold.
Due to a colour clash between the sides' regular jerseys, Kerry won a coin toss on Monday to decide who would be able to wear their normal colours.
The Connacht side's jersey is green and red and would have caused a clash of colours, while their usual alternate shirt is navy and was deemed by Mayo officials to be too similiar to the Kingdom's shirt and sought permission to wear a new design.
The GAA agreed and Andy Moran's men will wear white shirts, the same colour that they wore when they last won the All-Ireland title in 1951, at Croke Park on 26 July.
The GAA on Wednesday morning posted an image on social media of the sides' league meeting in March when Mayo lined out in all-white to mark the 75th anniversary of their All-Ireland final win over Meath.
