McNally named as All-Ireland football final referee
Martin McNally will referee this year's All-Ireland SFC final between Kerry and Mayo on Sunday, 26 July, in what will be a first for the Monaghan official.
From the Corduff club, McNally recently took charge of the quarter-final clash of Cork-Mayo, while also being the man in the middle for the All-Ireland series games featuring Armagh-Derry and Dublin-Donegal.
He also refereed the All-Ireland Under-20 final in 2023, this year's All-Ireland senior club decider, Leinster finals in 2021 and 2025 and the Ulster final in 2024.
Kerry and Mayo being back in the final for the first time since 2006 will be McNally's 32nd senior inter-county championship game to referee.
His score umpires on the day will be Ben Woods, Niall Reilly, Mark Gilsenan, and Anthony Marron, all from the Corduff club in Monaghan.
His line umpires on the day will be Tyrone’s Sean Hurson (also the standby referee) and Thomas Murphy from Galway.
The sideline official is Tipperary's Sean Lonergan. Killan Jones will act as the Hawkeye official, with Marty Duffy from Sligo the time official.
