It may have come to an end back in December, but the world of Stranger Things remains strong. With an animated spin-off television show, arcade games, tabletop RPG experiences, and more, there is always a new release just waiting around the corner for fans of the beloved Netflix franchise. So, regardless of what you may have thought about that series finale, just remember that there is always a way to rewrite the story for yourself.
Robin, Steve, Nancy, and Jonathan in Stranger Things season 5
However, if you want to get some payback with some of your favorite characters, then there is now a way to do so, thanks to the return of Fortnite's Stranger Things collaboration. Revealed by Shiina on Twitter/X, two of the Stranger Things-themed skins are now back in the Fortnite store. This includes Dustin complete with Hellfire Club shirt, brown jacket and baseball cap. He is joined by none other than Vecna, who is wearing... well, nothing, but he does have a lack of nose reminiscent of The Ghoul from Fallout.
Stranger Things and Fortnite have had multiple collaborations over the years. The first was back in July 2019 when players received skins for Chief Hopper and the Demogorgon. This was followed in 2023 and 2025, respectively, with the launch of Eleven, Vecna, and other members of The Gang.
However, in typical Fortnite fashion, some skins are swapped out in a cycle format in the in-game store, whilst other skins are entirely limited-edition. That being said, if you want to get your hands on Dustin and Vecna, if you missed out the first time around, you can enter the code "Shiina" in the Item Shop, either on the browser or in-game. However, if you want to get your hands on the entire gang (minus Eleven), it is currently on discount from 6,800 to 3,400 V-Bucks. Additionally, Eleven's skin (with multiple variations) is also available in the store for 1,500 V-Bucks.
Following Shiina's Twitter post, fans took to the comments to share their thoughts on the return of these Stranger Things skins for Fortnite. "Stranger Things collab has been rotating back every season since, like Chapter 3. Epic knows nostalgia prints money. At some point, they have just got to leave it in permanently." Whilst another asked, "How do you do Stranger Things without Steve, Max, Eddie & Nancy?"
These skins may not be for everybody, with the Stranger Things skins regularly cycling through the Fortnite Item Shop, it may be worth grabbing them on the off chance you would like to wear them in the future.
Not only that, but skins like these will definitely cater to the nostalgia as the time from the Stranger Things finale continues to grow.
