Allianz Ireland Expands Rhasidat Adeleke Partnership with Race Kit Branding

Allianz Ireland has deepened its partnership with Rhasidat Adeleke, with the company’s logo set to appear on the Irish sprinter’s competition kit for the first time. The expanded agreement marks a significant step in the relationship between one of Ireland’s leading insurers and one of the country’s most high-profile Olympic athletes. The Allianz branding will debut on Adeleke’s race kit at the Prefontaine Classic in Eugene on Friday, July 3, part of the Wanda Diamond League series and one of the landmark events on the global athletics calendar. The move represents the latest stage in a partnership that began in 2023, when Adeleke was 19, and initially focused on community initiatives and brand storytelling. That relationship was extended in December 2025 through to the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic cycle. The addition of kit sponsorship now brings Allianz directly onto the track with Adeleke as she continues to build towards the next Olympic Games. From Storytelling to Visibility Adeleke has become one of the defining Irish sporting figures of recent years, combining elite performance with a growing commercial profile. For Allianz, the move from campaign support to race kit branding gives the partnership a more visible international platform, particularly across Diamond League competition and the wider global athletics circuit. “Allianz has been in my corner since the early days of my professional career, supporting me through both my wins and learning moments,” said Adeleke. “To have them now appear on my race kit feels like a milestone in our journey. It’s more than just a logo; it represents a team that has believed in me from the start. I’m incredibly proud to wear the Allianz brand on the world stage as I continue to push my limits and represent Ireland.” Long-Term Olympic Cycle Mark Brennan, Head of Marketing at Allianz Ireland, said the kit sponsorship was a natural evolution of a partnership built around performance, resilience and wider social impact. “Watching Rhasidat’s journey since we first joined forces in 2023 has been a source of immense pride for everyone at Allianz,” he said. “Her dedication, resilience and commitment to excellence reflect qualities that inspire people both on and off the track. Expanding our partnership to include kit sponsorship is a natural next step, and we are proud to stand alongside her as she continues to represent Ireland on the world stage.” He added that the partnership was about more than brand visibility. “At Allianz, we believe sport has a unique ability to build confidence, resilience and opportunity, particularly for young people. Rhasidat embodies all of those qualities, which is why this partnership has always been about much more than sponsorship. “It is about supporting role models who inspire the next generation to believe in what is possible. When she steps onto the track, she carries with her not just the hopes of Ireland but also the unwavering support of the Allianz family.” Community Connection Adeleke will continue to support Allianz-backed programmes, including Dare to Believe, the Olympic schools initiative, and Keep Playing, the campaign aimed at addressing declining participation among young people. Those activations have been central to the partnership since its early stages, linking Adeleke’s rise on the track with Allianz Ireland’s broader investment in participation, confidence-building and community sport. The addition of race kit branding gives the agreement a stronger performance-focused element while retaining its community and youth-sport foundations. It also strengthens Allianz Ireland’s broader position in Irish sport, adding an international athletics platform to a portfolio that has long focused on the role sport plays in building stronger, healthier and more connected communities. The timing of the announcement, on the day of the Prefontaine Classic, ensures the expanded partnership will gain immediate visibility at one of the most recognised meetings in world athletics.
