Cristiano Ronaldo is 41 years old and still going strong as he continues a remarkable career.
The Portugal superstar is playing at his sixth World Cup, a record he shares with his great rival Lionel Messi. Mexico goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa has also been picked by his country six times, but failed to make an appearance at two of those tournaments.
It means Ronaldo, who turned 41 on February 5, jointly holds yet another record in an incredible career that has been packed with team and individual honours.
Ronaldo was born on February 5, 1985 in Funchal, the capital city of Madeira, an autonomous archipelago off the coast of Portugal. He came through the youth system at Portuguese giants Sporting CP, before joining Manchester United aged 18 in 2003 for £12million.
In six seasons at Old Trafford, the winger grew from raw talent to global superstar, winning three Premier League titles, the Champions League and his first Ballon d'Or - awarded to the best player in the world - in 2008.

In 2009, Ronaldo joined Real Madrid for a then-world record fee of £80m and would go on to spend nine seasons in the Spanish capital.
During that time, he helped Los Blancos win four Champions League titles and two La Liga crowns, while he claimed the Ballon d'Or a further four times and became the club's all-time top goalscorer.
Ronaldo joined Italian giants Juventus for £99m in 2018, when he was aged 33, lifting Serie A twice in three campaigns before making a shock return to United in summer 2021.
The forward lasted just over a year at Old Trafford, with his second spell ending in late 2022 due to a dispute with then manager Erik ten Hag.
He moved to Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr and helped them win the league title last season, lifting the trophy aged 41 in May.
Ronaldo has had a similar impact on the international stage, breaking the world record for the most senior caps and goals in football history. His appearance against Croatia in the last 32 of the World Cup was his 232nd for Portugal, while he had scored 145 goals going into that game.
The Portuguese superstar also became the first man to score at six World Cups with his double in the 5-0 hammering of Uzbekistan in the group stage.
Ronaldo tasted success on the international stage when he helped his country win Euro 2016, but the World Cup is so far the only major trophy to elude him, having reached the semi-finals only once - back at his first tournament in 2006.
