Jules Reidy is releasing a new album through Thrill Jockey, titled Clerestory.

Spanning six tracks, the new record arrives off the back of 2025’s Ghost/Spirit, which marks the Australian artist’s first full-length release for their current label home. Clerestory, a press release said, is different from the “dense song-constructs” of Reidy’s previous record, and features one extended piece, made with US strings collective JACK Quartet, as well as five shorter solo pieces.

“Clerestory explores a harmonic world built from collections of pitches related to one another as a tone and its shadow,” Reidy said in a statement. “In ‘Shadow Symmetric’, realised by JACK Quartet, these harmonic relationships give rise to subtle acoustic phenomena and fleeting shifts in perception.”

Thrill Jockey will release Clerestory on 25 September 2026.
