Apparently, Bryce Dettloff and Jen Terry weren’t the only two Islanders to cross paths this season before entering the Love Island USA Villa. On the latest episode, it was revealed that Corbin Mims and Parmida Keshani knew each other before Casa Amor brought them together—though of course, fans had already sussed this out based on the fact that Corbin already follows Parmida on Instagram.
So, what exactly went down between Corbin and Parmida before they entered the Villa? Apparently, Corbin slid into Parmida’s DMs…and though he initially denied it when Parmida brought it up, he eventually owned up to it.
According to Parmida, Corbin sent her a message that said something to the effect of, “Hey, I’m moving to Miami. We should work out together. We should run,” but the two never ended up meeting up and things fizzled out. Iiiinteresting.
What’s confusing is that Parmida is from San Antonio, not Miami. However! It seems she went to Miami back in May 2025 and posted several pics from the trip—so perhaps that is when Corbin reached out to her? Your guess is as good as mine!
As a reminder: Bryce also recognized Jen the minute she walked into the Villa as a Bombshell because of their shared connections in the L.A. modeling world. In fact, here they are posing next to each other in a Guess campaign:
And this isn’t the first season where this has happened, either! Remember how Chelley Bissainthe and Ace Green admitted they knew each other before entering the Villa on season 7? As he explained to Access Hollywood after leaving Fiji, “We met once outside of the club in New York. The world is very, very, very small. I even know other people in the Villa.”
Ace also knew Pepe Garcia going into the experience, while Chelley knew both Amaya Espinal and Andreina Santos pre-Love Island.
In conclusion: Corbin and Parmida’s experience isn’t all that unique after all!
