Several people including children in hospital after Finglas house fire
A number of people, including children, are in hospital after a house fire in Dublin in the early hours of yesterday morning.The blaze engulfed a property in west Finglas. The alarm was raised at around 2am on Thursday morning.The house is understood to have been extensively damaged, but no other surrounding ones were affected. The Irish Mirror reports that the fire destroyed all of the family's belongings.Up to three fire engines are understood to have attended the scene along with a turntable ladder and a Dublin Fire Brigade district officer.It remains unclear what caused the fire.In a statement, Gardai said: "Gardaí and emergency services responded to a fire at a domestic residence in Finglas, Dublin 11 in the early hours of Thursday 18th June 2026."The fire was extinguished by the fire services."Want to see more of the stories you love from Dublin Live?
