No National Lottery player became a multi-millionaire tonight, with no one matching all six winning Lotto numbers to get the near-£5million jackpot up for grabs. The Lotto draw took place at 8pm, and following a shake-up introduced earlier this month, it now follows a two-round format. Nothing changes when buying a ticket, with players still having to pick six numbers, from one to 59, or buy a Lucky Dip.
But now, each line of numbers played will be entered into one draw played over two rounds - which gives two chances to win, still for £2 per line. Players can win big by matching all six main numbers to win a jackpot of at least £1million, or by matching five main numbers and the bonus ball to secure a fixed £1million prize. Tonight, players could also try their luck with the Thunderball, the jackpot of which amounts to £500,000.
Here are the winning numbers from tonight's draw: Round 1: 26 - 31- 36 - 41 - 45 - 51, and Bonus Ball 16. Round 2: 2 - 14 - 18 - 40 - 48 - 55, and Bonus Ball 56.
Here are Thunderball's winning numbers: 13 - 16 - 23 - 25 - 26, and Thunderball 4.
