Growing anger on Isle of Wight over sewage releases
There’s growing anger on the Isle of Wight over sewage releases which are damaging the environment, people’s health and the tourism industry.
Spills in the first few months of this year are already greater than the whole of 2025 – something Southern Water has blamed on exceptionally wet weather.
The water company boss came to the island this week to be questioned by councillors about what’s being done.
