What The Iran War Is Showing Us About The US Military
The Iran War is giving the U.S. military a real-world stress test.
Operation Epic Fury showed that American firepower is still overwhelming, with U.S. forces flying more than 10,000 missions and striking more than 13,000 targets. But the campaign also exposed some uncomfortable questions about modern warfare: how long can aircraft carriers stay in the fight, how many expensive interceptors can the U.S. afford to fire, how quickly can Navy ships reload VLS cells, and are U.S. bases hardened enough for a missile and drone war?
In this episode, we break down what the Iran War is showing us about the U.S. military, including the role of aircraft carriers, Patriot and THAAD interceptors, SM-3 and SM-6 missile use, soft bases, hardened shelters, drones, long-range missiles, and why range still matters.
