The influencer, 27, and her partner Tommy Fury, also 27, have shared the first details about their growing family on social media, even though they are continuing to keep their son’s name private.
Molly-Mae and Tommy announced they had a son by featuring in a hospital ward-based clip Molly posted on her Instagram feed, which showed them with their daughter Bambi, three, alongside the caption: “There’s your little brother.”
The clip also featured Molly and Tommy asking their girl: “Do you want to hold him?”
Molly and Tommy announced the arrival of their second child in a social media post that quickly attracted millions of likes and thousands of comments from fans and celebrity friends.
The couple, who first met on the 2019 series of Love Island, confirmed the birth last week by posting a black-and-white family photograph.
Their announcement came during a busy period for Tommy, who is preparing for an upcoming boxing bout against Eddie Hall.
The pair have remained a frequent topic of public discussion following their highly publicised relationship ups and downs, which were documented in Molly-Mae’s recent Prime Video series, Behind It All.
Announcing the birth, Molly-Mae and Tommy said: “And then there were 4.”
Fans had already begun speculating the couple had welcomed a baby boy after spotting what appeared to be a blue blanket in the background of one of Molly-Mae’s YouTube videos.
One viewer wrote: “Why is no one talking about the blue baby blanket in the background of Molly's two new vlogs?”
Another commented: “I think baby boy.”
A third added: “Defo a boy!! I'm the only one that has noticed this!”
According to a source, Tommy briefly left the family home in order to continue preparations for his forthcoming fight.
The insider was quoted by the Daily Mirror saying: “He flew back up to Manchester yesterday.
“He’s absolutely devastated, but his fight is less than two weeks away, so he knows he has to do it. He needs to focus on his training.”
Molly-Mae has previously spoken publicly about becoming a parent in her early twenties and balancing motherhood with her business ambitions.
The influencer and entrepreneur has built one of the UK's most successful social media brands since finding fame on Love Island, while Tommy has combined reality television success with a professional boxing career.
Reflecting on becoming a mother, Molly-Mae said: “I felt like I'd lived so much life by 23, I felt really ready for a new chapter. Tommy and I were in an incredible place and to have something that was half him, half me, just felt really special. I've never had any regrets about starting a family young.”
She added: “But if I could go back and maybe go again, would I have waited a few more years Potentially. I would love more days to just sit and do absolutely nothing. They were great for my mental health.”
Molly-Mae has also spoken about wanting Bambi to experience the same sibling bond she shares with her older sister, Zoe Hague.
She added: “My life wouldn’t have been the same without my sister. I want that for Bambi.
“But I would never want to do it just for her – I would also want to do it because it is something I want to do. At the same time as being a mum, I also have huge career ambitions and when I fell pregnant with Bambi, my biggest goal was that I didn’t want to lose my identity – I didn’t want to lose myself and my goals and my dreams and my business ambitions.”
