Major North Belfast Operation in Disrupts Organised Crime and Drug Networks
A proactive policing operation targeting organised crime and drug dealing has been carried out by police in North Belfast.The two-week initiative involved 10 separate searches, executed by local officers alongside the Belfast Crime Team. The operation led to the recovery of two firearms and approximately 55 rounds of ammunition.Officers also confiscated a quantity of Class A controlled drugs—including crystal methamphetamine and cocaine—with an estimated street value of £15,000, alongside suspected Class B controlled drugs. Additionally, illegal cannabis vapes valued at around £2,000 were recovered and removed for further forensic analysis.As part of the ongoing investigation, assets totaling around £85,000, comprising cars, cash, and various other items, were seized. Three men have been arrested on suspicion of multiple drugs-related offences.
