Expert ‘very worried’ about long term implications of Iran war for the US
One man who predicted many of these events is Nate Swanson.
He advised Biden’s White House on Iran and was then the State Department’s representative on the Trump administration’s Iran negotiating team.
He wrote an article just before the war started, warning of a global economic shock and a quagmire that would be difficult for America to get out of. He’s now director of the Iran Strategy Project at the Atlantic Council.
