FanimeCon 2026 | Capcom Cosplay Gathering
One of the many cosplay gatherings organized for FanimeCon 2026 weekend celebrated Capcom’s massive library of hit games and classic titles. The meetup gave fans of the iconic publisher and studio a chance to connect and showcase their cosplay.
Capcom Cosplay Gathering
The Capcom Cosplay Gathering took place on Day 1 (May 22) of FanimeCon 2026 from noon to 1 p.m. at location G3. The meetup welcomed anyone cosplaying as a character from any Capcom title, including Mega Man, Street Fighter, or the Resident Evil series. It opened with a group photo of all the cosplayers before breaking into smaller shots by character, title, theme, and special request.
Capcom has maintained a solid track record for the past few years, but 2026 stands apart as the publisher has released hit after hit. The streak began with the successful launch of Resident Evil Requiem in February, followed by Monster Hunter Stories 3, then the Mega Man Star Force Collection, and most recently Pragmata.

FanimeCon 2026 took place during Memorial Day weekend from May 22 to May 25 at the San Jose Convention Center and surrounding venues. It is one of the largest fan-organized anime conventions in North America and one of the biggest events in San Jose.
