Beauchamps expands Corporate, Commercial and M&A practice with new appointments

Beauchamps has further expanded its Corporate, Commercial and M&A practice with the appointment of Nadine McMahon and Ryan Duggan as Of Counsel. The firm says the appointments represent another significant step in their strategic growth and underscore Beauchamps’ continued investment in senior legal talent and client-focused advisory expertise. McMahon advises Irish and international clients on a broad range of transactional and corporate advisory matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private investments, venture capital transactions, and general company law issues. She also has extensive experience advising on commercial agreements and contracts, helping clients simplify complex legal matters and manage risk while supporting strategic business objectives. McMahon trained and qualified in the corporate team of a leading international law firm in London, where she practised for several years before returning to Ireland, where she has worked in private practice as well as in-house. She works closely with companies, founders, management teams, and investors across the full corporate lifecycle, from establishment and fundraising through to growth and exit. Her sector experience includes technology, energy, financial services, and health and wellbeing. Duggan brings more than ten years’ post-qualification experience advising Irish and international clients on a broad range of corporate transactions and commercial matters. His practice includes mergers and acquisitions, investments, corporate governance, joint ventures, shareholder and partnership agreements, group reorganisations, and complex corporate advisory work. He also advises on company law compliance matters including summary approval procedures (SAPs), capital reductions, mergers by absorption, corporate conversions, and commercial contracts. Prior to joining Beauchamps, Duggan spent a decade practising in the corporate departments of two international law firms in Dublin. He is also a regular lecturer and tutor on the Law Society of Ireland’s Professional Practice Course (PPC), delivering modules in Business Law and Corporate Transactions. Commenting on the appointments, Shaun O’Shea, Partner and Head of Corporate, Commercial and M&A at Beauchamps, said: “We are delighted to welcome Nadine and Ryan to the firm at an exciting stage in the continued growth of our Corporate, Commercial and M&A practice." “Nadine’s breadth of corporate and commercial experience, combined with her strong commercial insight, makes her an excellent addition to the team. “Her experience across both private practice and in-house environments gives her a pragmatic and commercially focused approach to advising clients." “Ryan is a highly regarded corporate lawyer with extensive transactional and advisory experience across a broad range of complex matters.
