Alberta introduces new auto insurance rate cap, dubbing it a 'Care-First' model
“Under Care-First, the amount spent on third-party liability is going from $1,856 to $420. While the costs of accident benefits (such as rehab, physiotherapy, and payouts to injured Albertans) are going up, that increase is still offset considerably by the major decrease in costs with not having to pay so many lawyers.”
