VENICE, Italy, May 9 (Reuters) - Venezia turned the city’s historic canals into a floating amphitheatre on Saturday as the club celebrated their promotion to Serie A with a traditional gondola parade awash in green, black and orange.The Serie B champions secured promotion to Italy’s top flight with a game to spare after a 2-2 draw at Spezia on May 1, before sealing the title on Friday with a 2-0 home win over Palermo.
