Cruise ship with deadly virus outbreak on board to sail to Canary Islands
Live view of the MV Hondius from Praia as the cruise ship with nearly 150 people waits for assistance off Cape Verde’s coast in the Atlantic Ocean after three passengers died and three others were left seriously ill in a suspected hantavirus outbreak.
The ship will move to the Canary Islands, Spain's health ministry says, after it was anchored off Cape Verde following the deadly outbreak.
