They Bake to close Ayr location after five years in business
They Bake confirmed it has shut its Newmarket Street shop following a “bittersweet” decision.
The business said the move will allow it to focus on its Prestwick location, which better suits its needs moving forward, and will allow them to grow and expand their wholesale and online presence
Owners thanked customers for their support over the years, describing the Ayr shop as busy with a loyal customer base.
The bakery held a final trading day on May 1 at the site before closing.
They Bake will continue to operate from its Kyle Street premises in Prestwick.
