Ryder Cup tickets exclusively for Irish residents sell out in under an hour
Daily match day tickets for the 2027 Ryder Cup available via an exclusive priority window for residents of the island of Ireland sold out in under an hour on Friday, April 24.
More than 150,000 people from across the island of Ireland had pre-registered for early access, with a limited number of tickets available on a first-come, first-served basis from 11 am on Friday, Ryder Cup officials said.
The limited number of general admission daily tickets that went on sale for the three match days - Friday, September 17, Saturday, September 18, and Sunday, September 19 - cost €499 per daily ticket.
Practice day and weekly tickets that were also available in the exclusive Irish window sold out in under four hours, Ryder Cup officials said.
However, those unsuccessful in Friday's window will have a second opportunity to purchase general admission daily tickets in the full public ballot, which opens to fans from around the world on Wednesday, June 3.

Richard Atkinson, the European Tour Group’s Chief Ryder Cup Officer, said: “The demand from fans across the island of Ireland has been unprecedented. We know that Irish golf fans are amongst the most enthusiastic in the world, and this is yet another reminder of that.
“We also look forward to the start of June when, in addition to Irish residents getting a second chance, fans from around the world will get their opportunity to be part of this great sporting occasion.”
The 100th anniversary of the Ryder Cup will take place at Adare Manor in Co Limerick, Ireland, from September 13-19, 2027.
It will be the second time the Ryder Cup has been held in Ireland, following The K Club in 2006.
All fans wishing to attend the 2027 Ryder Cup will need to have a registered ticket account, which you can sign up for online here. Full details of the application process will then be sent to you directly via your registered account.
Officials added that only tickets secured via official Ryder Cup channels will be accepted. Details of how to secure official accommodation will also be provided as part of the ticket application process.
