Accomplished actor Goldie Hawn has long made her mark in Hollywood, shooting to stardom in the 1960s and having since bagged an Oscar and nine Golden Globe nominations for her efforts. But with such a successful career in the spotlight, it's not her stunning Hollywood transformation or her unfortunate makeup missteps that have proven to be topics of interest. Instead, it's Hawn's ostentatious lifestyle, one she shares with her long-time partner, fellow Hollywood legend Kurt Russell. However, it's a life well-earned after a truly spectacular run on the silver screen.
Despite eschewing marriage, Hawn and Russell share an impressive real estate portfolio. In California alone, the "Cactus Flower" star owns several sprawling estates, including a five-bedroom, five-bathroom mansion that has since been sold to Sir Anthony Hopkins for $13 million. Then there's the cozy yet minimalistic ranch Hawn owns in Colorado, as well as a grand New York penthouse, with the star sharing a glimpse of her penthouse bedroom in this short clip while outlining her morning routine. And let's not forget the extravagant vacation Hawn took with her family to Skiathos, Greece, where they stayed in a private villa away from prying eyes. Well, there's certainly no denying that Hawn is living large.
When you've reached the pinnacle of success like Goldie Hawn has, splurging on the occasional home or diamond is no issue. But living in the public eye inevitably draws attention, and at times, the wrong kind of attention. In an interview on Kelly Ripa's "Let's Talk Off Camera with Kelly Ripa" podcast, the "Private Benjamin" star revealed that she and Russell had experienced two frightening instances of a break-in in one of their California homes. Thankfully, the couple wasn't home during the first break-in, where most of their valuables were stolen in their absence, but Hawn was present during the second break-in four months later.
"I hear this big thump upstairs, and I was alone. Kurt wasn't there and I went 'What the hell was that?'" Hawn says, recounting the event. "As it turned out, the next day we discovered that they were trying to get in my bedroom while I was in the house." As a result of these terrifying experiences, Hawn further revealed that she has since hired security to protect her at all times. It is still unclear whether the home the star is speaking of is the Palisade residence she has since sold to Sir Anthony Hopkins in January 2026. However, we can breathe a sigh of relief that Hawn and Russell escaped unscathed.
