Shane Lowry's wife enjoys Masters with Irish rugby legends and their partners

For the second successive year, Shane Lowry's bid for masters glory unravelled at the crucial moment. The 2019 Open Champion went into Sunday's final round just a couple of shots off the lead, and after a wonderful three days at Augusta, he looked primed to mount a serious charge. But, as in 2025, Lowry fell apart on the final day and slipped down the leaderboard, ultimately finishing in a tie for 30th on 1-under for the week, having been 9-under on the first tee on Sunday.Despite not being able to get the job done, the Lowry clan still looked like they had a wonderful time in Georgia this week, as they were surrounded by friends and family throughout the few days.Close friend Jessica O'Mahony - wife of rugby legend Peter O'Mahony - shared a collection of snaps on social media that showed the O'Mahony family and the Lowry's enjoying Shane's performances over the first few days.Fellow rugby star Rob Kearney was also in attendance alongside the O'Mahony's and Wendy Lowry, with the duo of Irish sporting powerhouses roaring Shane on from the Patrons gallery over the four days.Unfortunately, Lowry's final day blow-up, which cost him quite a bit of money, put an end to his dreams of winning the Masters, but there was a consolation for the Offaly native as he watched his fellow Irishman Rory McIlroy take home the green jacket on Sunday evening.Despite his own disappointments, Lowry was present when McIlroy sunk the winning putt on Sunday, and was one of the first to congratulate his great friend on his incredible win.Lowry will be back on the horse this week at the RBC heritage, and will tee off at 6:05pm on Thursday evening.Click here to sign up to our sport newsletter, bringing you the top stories and biggest headlines from Ireland and beyond
