Portugal socialist wins first round, to face far-right rival in presidential runoff
Portugal’s Socialist candidate António José Seguro won the first round of the presidential election and will face far-right rival André Ventura in a runoff, near-complete results showed on Sunday. With 95% counted, Seguro led with 30.6%, ahead of Ventura on 24.2%.
