DFA checking if Filipinos among Sydney shooting victims
MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said it is verifying whether or not there were any Filipino nationals involved in the mass shooting incident in Bondi, Sydney, Australia on Sunday. The DFA made the pronouncement after Australian authorities have confirmed multiple casualties, with emergency operations ongoing. No confirmed Filipino casualties have so far been reported.
