Health Sec gives statement on pre=Christmas doctors' strike
The British Medical Association (BMA) is to consult its members on whether to call off a pre-Christmas strike by resident doctors after a new offer from the government.
In a statement published moments ago, the union said that it will conduct an online survey of members on if they believe the offer is sufficient to call off the strike action, due to start on 17 December.
