Woman struck by vehicle in Dalkey car park over the weekend dies
latest | Stock imageA woman, aged in her 70s, who was struck by a vehicle in Dalkey on Sunday has died.The incident occurred at a car park on Castle Villas Street in Dalkey on Sunday at about 4.30pm. The collision involved a vehicle and a pedestrian. The woman was conveyed to St Vincent's Hospital with life-threatening injuries and since died on Thursday.Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to this incident to come forward.Anyone who was in the Castle Villas street area on Sunday 13th July 2025 between 4:15-4:45pm and who may have any information is asked to contact investigating Gardaí.Likewise, anyone who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) is asked to make that footage available.Gardaí can be contacted at the Dún Laoghaire Garda Station 01 6665000, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.
