Anitta Channels Her Inner Gothic Bride in a Bondage Minidress at the 2024 VMAs
Anitta has touched down at the MTV Video Music Awards, and she made an impact on the red carpet in a gothic all-white ensemble. Laced up in a strappy white minidress, the Brazilian pop star looked hauntingly beautiful as she arrived at the ceremony. Her custom Dolce & Gabbana outfit brought the drama with a translucent white hood, as well as streams of white fabric that trailed out from underneath her minidress. Bringing a softer side to the bondage-esque look, Anitta accessorized with sheer white thigh-high stockings and a pair of open-toed silver stilettos. Sculptural silver bracelets and a handful of silver rings added some sparkle, which continued upward with a diamond collar necklace and dangling diamond earrings. A shimmering silver and purple eye shadow elevated her look further, while a matching mauve lip gloss added more glamour. This time around, she performed a medley of “Savage Funk” and “Alegría,” and premiered her song “Paradise” with guest appearances by Fat Joe, DJ Khaled, and Tiago PZK. Still, all eyes were on Anitta as she stepped out in a white fishnet bodysuit with matching fingerless gloves. She ended up taking home a Moon Person in Best Latin for her solo contribution, and accepted the award in a piece from Zuhair Murad's Fall/Winter 2024 couture collection: an embellished burgundy gown with cutouts lining each side.
