MMOexp: This isn't anything new in Souls-style games obviously

Elden Ring: it's good many are saying that, however it comes with certain caveats, like the fact you can't properly stop the game. This isn't anything new in Souls-style games obviously, but If Elden Ring's hype indicates that this is the first one of Path of exile currency these that you're considering (or in the event that you've grown older or your life circumstances have changed since last playing one), then you should know that now you can stop the game at any time, you have to do things first.

For those who are just beginning to join us While Souls-like games allow you to access menus just like any normal video game, they never actually pause the game so the moment you've located somewhere safe and cozy to bunker down, your game of juggling inventory could be interrupted by faces with arrows. While earlier, strictly single-player games offered pause-like solutions such as accessing specific quit menus and photo modes, ever since Miyazaki and co brought in online elements to the games it's been impossible to suspend them with normal methods (the one exception is Sekiro).

While I applaud the intent in this case--as is the case with many design choices in Souls games but the harshness is what makes me find this a snare to my heart. I'm a father of two and is also employed in a position that has my attention being split in 1000 different directions. While I'd love to play a game with no interruptions, my life is nothing but interruptions, and so playing these kinds of POE orbs for sale games can be a nightmare for me. Elden Ring is no exception.
