If you're an experienced player who gave up RuneScape as well as OSRS and are thinking of returning it, I highly recommend that you play the latest game's content. As I said earlier, RuneScape respects your time and, even if it's been more than a decade since the last time you played, you'll not have any issues jumping right back in the games and OSRS gold starting it over and over. Preparing to play the latest content required approximately a week. I had the chance to play the brand-new Secrets of the North content even after such a long pause.
I've a deep love for the game due to childhood memories, therefore my views are not in any way uninformed. But, millions of players are likely to like what I have to say about the future of RuneScape in 2023. So why not test the game yourself to see how far it has evolved over the last two years?
RuneScape is among the most popular and longest-running MMORPGs that are still in existence and has a running time of more than 20 years. To keep the fun alive, the designers at Jagex have introduced a new mode called Fresh Start Worlds as a limited-time game mode. The mode became available on September 26th and will run until January 9 in an exclusive mode for members. When it's over this is it. The worlds will close and all accounts will be incorporated in the game, and then become regular accounts.
The benefits? The exclusive items, such as halos, pets and other colour-specific capes for skills will be transferred over too, so you can display them or even trade them with your principal character. Recently I had the opportunity to meet (virtually) to chat with Frances Keatley, Product Manager for RuneScape and Tim Fletcher, Lead Game Designer for RuneScape and discuss the new Fresh Start Worlds.
Before giving me a tour through the fresh Fresh Start Worlds, one of the first questions Keatley and Fletcher asked me was "What are your experiences using RuneScape?" For my part, I began playing RuneScape in the year 2004 - around three years after it was launched and didn't play longer than couple of months. I didn't have the money to pay for the subscription in the moment (I think I was in the 8th grade) and, without access to a few of the features I felt that I were missing out on a significant portion of the fun.
I've rediscovered it from time to time for instance in the year RuneScape 3 launched in 2013 and then again this year, when RuneScape Mobile was launched. However, at that point, I felt that RuneScape was on the market for many years that I could not keep up with the players. Fletcher claimed the that I'm "the most likely players" for the new Fresh Start Worlds, which led me to think that maybe is it not too late for me to begin at all?
Keatley kept her message clear: "Be the character that you'd like to be," and play how you'd like to play. RuneScape is among the most flexible MMORPGs offering 28 skills, more than 200 quests, as well as optional PvP. There's no linear progression which means that players are free to explore every part of Gielinor in the realm of RuneScape and learn the abilities they wish to concentrate on. It's now more accessible than prior to the launch of mobile versions this year. You have the ability to enjoy RuneScape for free on PC, Mac, and Linux by downloading a client, via Steam or on iOS through the App Store or Android via using the Google Play Store.
However, you're already aware about that an experienced player? You've played RuneScape before, and this is an overview for you Isn't it? "What's the matter regarding Fresh Start Worlds? Fresh Start Worlds, already!?" I hear you screaming at your monitor. So, let me in on the action. Tim Fletcher, aforementioned Lead Game Designer, and guide me around the Cheap RS gold world and tell me what I as a former player (if I am even named this) will be looking towards.
