Players can unlock a variety of mounts and customization options in Diablo 4. This makes traveling across the diverse regions in the world of Sanctuary faster if you stay on the roads. But characters can't attack monsters or joust while riding a mount. However, when approaching enemies, they can use a powerful dismount attack. This involves jumping off the mount into the heat of battle and casting the ability. Every class in Diablo 4 also has its own unique dismount ability, which is precisely what we are here to discuss.
Barbarian Dismount Ability
When Barbarian leaped off his mount with his weapon high above his head and pounded it on the ground, causing mass devastation to the surrounding monsters, some monsters were severed in half and splattered.
Druid Dismount Ability
The Druid turns into its werebear form while dismounting, smashing enemies with its bear claws/paws when it lands. This state seems to be short-lived, but the Druid can do a lot of damage while in it.
Sorcerer Dismount Ability
Upon jumping off her horse, the Sorcerer turns into a ball of ice and hurtles toward the monsters on the battlefield, freezing and knocking them over. A wide path of ice and cold sets in around the monsters.
Rogue Dismount Ability
As the Rogue dismounts, she aims her bow into the sky and down rains dozens of arrows onto the monsters in the battlefield in front of her, many of them dying.
Necromancer Dismount Ability
When Necromancers activate their Dismount Ability, they will jump off the mount and slam the ground, unleashing a damaging cone of Bone magic.
In addition, the only caveat is that if monsters attack you first, you will be dismounted without using the ability, so getting the jump on the followers of Lilith and the hordes of the Burning Hells is essential here.
At the time of writing, the exact damage numbers and if you have to unlock these dismount abilities or learn them in some way in Diablo 4 are unknown, but we will update you once we know more.
