The River of Flame is appropriate next to The Chaos Sanctuary. Travel to the very best right of the screen past Hadriel and beyond the bridge.
The Chaos Sanctuary includes a cross-like shape and special mechanics which include 5 Seals and 3 Seal Bosses. When all 5 Seals are opened and all sorts of 3 Seal Bosses are dead, Diablo spawns in the center star of The Chaos Sanctuary. There are also Oblivion Knights that cast these Curses you: Amplify Damage, Decrepify, Life Tap, Lower Resist, and Weaken.
Grand Vizier of Chaos
On the left side of Chaos Sanctuary, there are two possible layouts each containing 2 Seals. The green circle in example layouts indicate which Seal spawns the Seal Boss, Grand Vizier of Chaos. He spawns nearby and it is always Extra Strong and Fire Enchanted.

Lord De Seis
On the very best side of Chaos Sanctuary, there are two layouts and 1 Seal. When this Seal is opened, Lord De Seis spawns nearby. He is always Extra Strong and Aura Enchanted. Initially, the Aura is Fanaticism, however, should you leave him alone of sufficient length he might change his Aura.
Infector of Souls
On the underside right side of Chaos Sanctuary there are two layouts and a pair of Seals. When the Westmost Seal is opened, the Infector of Souls spawns nearby. He is always Extra Fast with Spectral Hit.
Diablo
When all Seals are popped with all of Seal Bosses dead, the screen goes red and Diablo himself calls out, "Not even death can help you save from me." After a few moments, Diablo always spawns within the center star of The Chaos Sanctuary.
Moat Trick Infector of Souls
On the best side of The Chaos Sanctuary, you've 2 different layouts. You can abuse the J-shaped tile with ranged builds by attacking Infector of Souls within the moat without him having the ability to hit you.
Portal Trick
You could make Diablo waste actions during his fight by placing Town Portal alongside him and stepping back, making them summon Bone Prison onto it over and over so long as there is no active Bone Prison around the Town Portal.
Pre-Cast
While awaiting Diablo to spawn within the center of The Chaos Sanctuary, you can pre-cast Blessed Hammer in specific positions to place those hammers around the field. When Diablo spawns, you can jump on him too, and effectively be hitting him two times as hard. This also works best for Skills that linger for some time, for example, Blizzard or Meteor.
Seal Popping
The Chaos Sanctuary includes a unique mechanic known as "Seal Popping." After all of the Seals are opened and Seal Bosses are dead, all of the monsters are killed throughout this zone and Diablo spawns afterward. We can abuse this method to our benefit to get more loot. Seal Popping includes a few mechanics to know to pull off properly.
