The 1 p.m. slate includes a handful of games with important playoff implications. And one of the biggest game-ups is at the Georgia Dome when the Atlanta Falcons (6-4) play the Minnesota Vikings (7-3). The Giants are just off of a bye following an intense loss to the New England Patriots in Week 10. while Washington's momentum was dampened by a defeat from the Panthers. Like the division, there's no real consensus on the panel, and there's just a slight 5-3 advantage to the Giants.
In the afternoon, in the late afternoon slot, in the late afternoon, Seattle Seahawks host the Pittsburgh Steelers in an rematch of the legendary Super Bowl 40. Seattle is back at .500 after a thumping win over The San Francisco 49ers, but Marshawn Lynch is likely to be out due to a sports hernia. Happily, the Seahawks have been awestruck by the rise of rookie Thomas Rawls, who carved out the 49ers for 255 yards of offense and two touchdowns. Roethlisberger went on to slash to the Cleveland Browns for 379 passing yards and three touchdowns and now had an extra week to recover. At an impressive 6-4 in the standings, the Steelers are turning into one of those teams no one would like to play down the stretch. Our experts recommend Pittsburgh 4-3 with noted Seahawks fan Matt Ufford choosing "whiskey" as his preferred option.
