Forvis Mazars adds five partners to leadership team

Forvis Mazars has announced five new partner appointments across its audit and consulting teams. Andrew Brennan, Aisling Callanan, Ciara Finnegan and Gemma Rocliffe have been appointed as audit partners, and Burke has been appointed as a consulting partner. Brennan has been with Forvis Mazars for over 12 years and has extensive experience supporting both domestic and international clients in the asset management sector. He works with a broad range of investment funds, including UCITS and alternative investment funds (AIFs), as well as management companies and fund service providers. Callanan joined Forvis Mazars in 2017 and is based in the Galwy office. She supports privately owned businesses and subsidiaries of multinational groups across the west, across sectors such as manufacturing, retail, construction, med tech and not-for-profit. She is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and former chair of the Western Society of Chartered Accountants. Finnegan has been with Forvis Mazars since 2012 and works with wide range of multinational and progressive Irish-owned clients across the manufacturing, retail, distribution and technology sectors. She has extensive experience auditing financial statements under FRS 102, FRS 101 and IFRS, and is a fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland. Rocliffe specialises in audit and advisory services for structured finance vehicles and investment firms. With a strong focus on audit quality and technical excellence, Rocliffe also delivers in-house technical training and advises clients on complex audit and accounting matters. Finally, Burke is part of Forvis Mazar’s risk consulting team, providing governance, risk advisory and internal audit services as well as grant audit services, advising both grant-awarding bodies and recipients in the public and private sectors. He is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) and holds a Diploma in Risk Management, Internal Audit and Compliance. “I am delighted to welcome five new partners to the partnership," said Tom O'Brien, managing partner at Forvis Mazars. "These appointments reflect our continued growth and ambition in the Irish market and underscore the talent and expertise we have built through sustained investment in training and professional development. Forvis Mazars merged with Cork firm James Byrne & Co in September. “As we continue to expand our audit and consulting practices, these appointments further strengthen our leadership team and will build on the strength of our existing partnership to further support our clients in an increasingly complex and dynamic trading environment.” Photo: (l-r) Andrew Brennan, Aisling Callanan, Gemma Rocliffe, Tom O’Brien and Robert Burke.
