SEND: families anxiously wait for promised government reform
The Government has launched what it called a ‘national conversation’ on special educational needs – known as SEND – saying it will put the experiences of parents at the heart of future reforms.
But many parents live in a state of constant worry about the future of SEND and have to fight to get their children the right education.
And the white paper outlining the proposed changes in England won’t come out until next year.
We’ve been to Dorset to hear from families anxiously waiting for the promised reforms.
